Inspired by the description of Mr. Kneebone, the wool merchant and tailor friend of Jack Sheppard, the Kneebone is a longline tailored jacket, with a three-button opening.
French for 'curled' or 'looped', Bouclé fabric is made by spinning multiple strands of yarn to create this unique weave. Our Bouclé is sourced, via our end of line dealers, from the prestigious 175 year old House of Dormeuil, a family run fabric business who take an ethical approach.
Dormeuil's fabric manufacturing premises are located in Yorkshire, the birthplace of the international textile industry and home to some of the world's finest water. The unique water found in the Pennines creates the perfect conditions for fabric finishing, giving Dormeuil's Bouclé a distinctively soft texture.
Detailing includes a curved peak lapel, two well slanted flap pockets, an inside pocket and three button cuffs.
Offered here in 100% Bouclé stripe wool.
Dry clean only.
- We make small quantities of high quality pieces. If your size is sold out, you are welcome to contact us and if we have fabrics available, we will be happy to make your size to order for you.
