This version of our Clyde hat is named after the 2nd Earl of Rochester, John Wilmot, who was a favourite court poet of Charles II. Known for his extravagant frolics, he lived a debaucherous life and enjoyed countless lovers including, as rumour has it, a young Nell Gwyn.
Great effort has been taken to carefully cut, match and sew each panel to give this hat it's Union Jack flag effect.
