FANSHAWE CAPE IN BROWN WITH CONTRASTS

Regular price £645.00 £145.00 Sale

Archive Piece*

This cape is named after the heroine of the 1945 film ‘The Wicked Lady’ which is inspired by the story of Catherine Fanshawe - a noble woman turned highpad. This triple layered, fluted shawl cape is ever so practical and versatile as well as gorgeously stylish. It can be worn on the shoulder or you can make use of the armholes and wear it more like a jacket.

Made in a soft, thick, comforting fully lined black jumbo corduroy this cape features two small side pockets at the front and has two rows of button detailing. It fastens beneath the breast with a generous sized hook and eye. Underneath the left hand side layer there is a hidden little secret jet pocket that is secured by the decorative feature buttons on the chest and inside there is also a larger pocket. It’s jaunty double collar gives it character and make it the perfect companion for galavanting.

Offered here in 100% brown wool with white, camel, yellow and blue mohair.

Dry clean only.
